Gah im going BROKE!! lol iono where all my money is.. it seems like i worked a lot but i havent saved anything... so yea nancy's coming this week soooOo excited havent seen her in forever.. although ima feel really guilty cause like i said im broke so i cant spend much on her.. the girls (manda and amie) are coming back as well.. dude its been two months since they left, i havent had dim sum for two months! lol (inside joke) lets see what else? O birthdays! i never realize so many birthdays this months so yea birthday shout outs (sorries if yours already passed) : hannah, trung, tim, chantel, chi, trudy, hoang, cynthia, chris, hoa, peter, junior (kwaw), quyen, ME, and everyone else that i missed *sorry* wish yalls the best birthday ever!
so on monday tuyet and i came up with a list of things/questions that customers do/ask that annoys us like crazy..
- come in on the phone speaking really loud (vietnamese, chinese, and koreans)
- dont know what they're talking about
- asks a gazillon questions then ends up only ordering a milk tea
- asked: what are pearls? reply: tapioca balls.. WHAT FISH EYES?!?!
- what's the difference between slushies and smotthies (for those who dont know slushie = water, smothie = milk)
- why dont you take credit cards?..so Asian.. ( how are we suppose to know it's not up to us ask the owners!!!! and hello you're in an asian resturant!)
- chew gum w/mouth open, spit, or chew on toothpick..eww
- comes to the font of the line and cant decide what to have
- ask what's the differences between drinks.. um the drinks name litterally means what it is.. (ex. whats the differences between milk tea and taro milk tea..)
- can i get a _____ milkshake (we only have milk or smoothies and to some people milkshake can be either one..)
- pronounciation.. yes i realize not everyone speaks english as their first language but those who says it wrong and seems so confident that they're right and you're wrong! (ex. "eye moocha" "capusino" "papa milk" "avo...bo")
- order when none of us is at the register... uh who are you talking to?
- Chinese people who assume we're chinese so they automatically speak in chinese (not just chinese.. vietnamese, koreans, indonesians, and mexicans as well)
- Vietnamese people who talk smack about us and thinks we dont understand! (FYI we're all viet! well most of us..)
- And lastly.. Rotten Kids who take our tip money and their parents would laugh and not say anything!
lol writting this list makes it seem like coco's a bad place to work at but its really not that bad.. its just certain things/customers that bugs us.. overall we do like our customers and working there
